Q · 01Where is Doma Hongdae located?
Doma Hongdae is at 33, Yanghwa-ro 16-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul (1F, Seogyo-dong). About a 5-minute walk from Hongik University Station (Line 2 / AREX / Gyeongui–Jungang Line) Exit 9.
Q · 02What does Doma Hongdae specialize in?
We are a Korean BBQ specialist focused on galbi-sal (boneless short rib), kkotsal (flower cut), galbi-bonsal, jin-galbi, marinated galbi, and Australian wagyu sirloin — all hand-cut daily and grilled over real charcoal.
Q · 03How do I make a reservation?
Call +82-507-1427-0365, book via Naver, or send a DM on Instagram (@doma_hongdae). Reservations are recommended for weekend evenings.
Q · 04What are the opening hours?
Open daily 16:00 — 24:00, last order at 23:00. Open every day of the year.
Q · 05Can I dine solo? Are there foreign-language menus?
Solo diners are welcome. We provide English, Japanese, and Chinese menu guidance. Doma Hongdae is a Blue-Ribbon-listed Korean BBQ destination popular with international guests visiting Hongdae.
Q · 06Is parking available?
We do not have a private lot. We recommend nearby public parking in Hongdae or public transit — the restaurant is a 5-minute walk from Hongik University Station.
Q · 07What do you recommend ordering?
Start with the Doma Combo A (galbi-sal + galbi-bonsal + kkotsal) or Doma Combo B (galbi-sal + wagyu sirloin + kkotsal). Finish with our signature doenjang sool-bap, addictive doenjang stew, or yukhoe naengmyeon.
Q · 08Can you accommodate group bookings or private dinners?
Yes — we accommodate groups of 6 to 10. Company dinners, birthdays, and international group meals are common here. For 8+ guests or weekday evenings, please book 1–2 days ahead by phone (+82-507-1427-0365) or Naver.
Q · 09What payment methods do you accept?
We accept domestic and international credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), debit cards, cash, KakaoPay, and NaverPay. Foreign-issued cards work fine — no extra surcharge.
Q · 10Does the staff speak English, Japanese, or Chinese?
Basic English service is available. We provide menus and cut-by-cut descriptions in English, Japanese, and Chinese — visual photo menus help bridge any language gap.
Q · 11How much should two people order?
For two, we recommend one serving of galbi-sal + one serving of kkotsal or galbi-bonsal + one rice dish (doenjang sool-bap or doenjang stew). Doma Combo A is a great way to taste multiple cuts at once.
Q · 12Is the restaurant kid-friendly?
Kids are welcome. Non-spicy cuts (kkotsal, galbi-bonsal, wagyu sirloin) and our rice dishes (doenjang sool-bap) work well for children. Limited high chairs available — first come, first served.
